Lateral flow self-testing for staff is a vital infection control tactic in NHS England’s strategy to keep staff and patients safe during the current pandemic. From 20 November 2020, NHS staff in England are required to perform a lateral flow COVID test on themselves twice a week and report their results to their employing trust, who in turn ensure any positive results are dealt with rapidly. All results are reported to Public Health England (PHE).

Digitise your results submission and management process

Infinity Health is working with Liaison Group to bring a time-saving COVID-19 digital testing service to NHS trusts needing to manage the current nhs staff COVID testing regimen required by NHS England. With the Infinity solution, staff are sent unique links to securely submit their results twice a week. Real-time and mandatory reporting for PHE is produced quickly and easily. This saves time, drives up submission rates, and allows organisations to monitor the success of their self-testing programme.

See where delays and blockages are

With real-time visibility of all activity, from bed-management to granular task-level, ward and site managers can understand where there might be unnecessary delays or blockages, and more effectively respond to them. For example, it is clear to see the reason that a patient discharge or transfer is delayed, so decisions can be made to maintain patient flow.

Improve bed management

Bed management is easier with Infinity’s dashboard. Admissions, discharges, and transfers are automatically recorded on Infinity, removing the need for bed managers to spend time visiting and calling wards to ascertain upcoming discharges and transfers. Admissions and other transfers are therefore much easier and less time-consuming to plan and coordinate, and patient flow is improved.

“Infinity provides a fantastic flow of information, following the patient from admission to A&E to discharge.”
