Infinity Health wins place on NHS England-backed digital health accelerator

“London is the digital capital of Europe and this convergence of tech and health means smarter ways for people to manage and improve their health, and a release of some of the burden on our hospitals.”

— Rajesh Agrawal
Deputy Mayor of London for Business

Today, Infinity Health has been announced as one of 30 digital health technology companies accepted onto the prestigious NHS DigitalHealth.London Accelerator programme. DigitalHealth.London worked with over 100 senior NHS, commercial and technical experts to assess companies’ suitability for its Accelerator, and with 127 applicants (almost five per place), competition was fierce.

This is the second intake onto the NHS England and AHSN backed programme, which aims to speed up adoption of technology in London’s NHS, relieving high pressure on services and empowering patients to manage their health. Applicants were assessed on their suitability according to business credibility and the likely benefit their innovations could deliver at a pan-London level.

The chosen companies aim to build on the success of the first cohort, who have had strong uptake across the capital. In its first year, the programme supported 31 companies to obtain 38 contracts with the NHS.
