Infinity Health is a digital health company providing a platform on which health and care staff log, share and coordinate their daily care tasks in real-time. It eases the burden on NHS staff by helping them to manage their workload more easily, collaborate with colleagues from across specialties, and provide visibility of the information they need, when they need it.
To support us on our mission to make task management safer and more efficient, we have an exciting opportunity for a mid-level back end developer to join the team. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Engineering across our platform’s entire software architecture and infrastructure. The successful candidate will join a friendly, mission-focused team from across multiple disciplines including clinical, communications, and finance.
Responsibilities and duties
Constructing HTTP APIs
Helping front end and back end integration
Designing and implementing integrations with our customers’ systems
Ensuring systems are healthy and performant
Skills and experience
The candidate should be comfortable around web development and have a knack for devops.
Candidates MUST have a UK or EU working visa permit
Candidates must be within UTC±2 time zones
3+ years’ experience as a Ruby developer
Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
Experience with Linux systems
Experience working with HTTP and REST APIs
Proficiency with Git
Ability to manage hosting environments. Plus for knowledge of AWS, Terraform and Ansible
Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases
Understanding of web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and development tooling
Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field
Great attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
