PIFU and virtual wards on the agenda for Infinity Health at HETT

We're pleased to announce that our CEO and NHS Innovation Accelerator Fellow, Elliott Engers, will discuss whether Patient Initiated Follow Up (PIFU) will accelerate personalised care at HETT .

Elliott will join Breid O’Brien, Director of Innovation and Digital Health at NHS England on a panel chaired chaired by Jono Board, Quality Improvement Facilitator, Primary Care Transformation Team & Patient Representative at NHS England.

The Infinity Health team will also be on the AHSN Network stand on both days, where they’ll be discussing PIFU, virtual wards, and how we can help the NHS reduce the elective care backlog.

We hope to see you there.

Session details

27 September, 14:50 - 15:30 on the Digitally Empowered Patients Stage

  • How do health inequalities inform initiatives such as PIFU? Who can’t follow up? Who can’t engage?

  • What are the clinical risks associated with scaling PIFU and how do we ensure that we mitigate against them?

  • How do we drive scale once these issues have been resolved and utilise PIFU to reduce waiting times for patients and address the elective recovery backlog?

  • The session will also share and discuss patient perspectives on PIFU and personalisation
